Coco, a Golden retriever mix, and her handler Rodd Garcia, are regular volunteers at Del Sol Medical Center. They have been making rounds to patients and staff for 7 years, bringing smiles to those they meet. Garcia finds their work rewarding, particularly when they visit people who haven't seen their own dogs in a long time.

Garcia was introduced to the concept of therapy dogs by a representative of "Paws 4 Love" at a dog park. He has since learned about the benefits of therapy dogs and now works with Coco to provide comfort to others.
