A significant fire broke out at a junkyard known as El Forcito. The city reported that around 80 junk vehicles were consumed by the fire. Firefighters responded with multiple fire engines and water tankers to extinguish the flames.
Recyclers in the area also assisted by providing additional water tankers. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to Civil Protection.
