A kitten was rescued from a 20-foot-deep utility pipe after falling inside. The pipe, located near communication towers, contained collected rainwater and trash, surrounding the kitten. An officer from El Paso Animal Services used a rope to provide the kitten with something to hold onto, allowing it to be pulled to safety.

The kitten was then taken to a shelter where it was cleaned and given shots in preparation for adoption. Fortunately, the person who reported the stranded kitten decided to adopt it.

Further details and a photo of the rescue are available from El Paso Animal Services.
