A massive restoration project has yielded significant discoveries, including the largest Roman mosaic mural ever found. The mural, dubbed the "Gran Mosaico", measures 10 meters high and 16 meters long. It was uncovered beneath a hill where Emperor Nero built his Domus Aurea between 64 and 68 AD. A colorful fresco painted on a 2,000-year-old wall was also revealed. The restoration project took 14 years to complete.
