A graduate student outside hitter has received preseason recognition. Ema Uskokovic is one of seven players on the preseason team. She is the fifth player in her program to achieve this in consecutive seasons.

The team she plays for has been predicted to finish first. They received four first-place votes and led the predicted order of finish.
