A traffic stop was conducted by Horizon City Police officers near an intersection. The stop involved three juveniles and resulted in the recovery of a firearm and alcohol. Officials reported that one minor was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun.

This individual was taken into custody and later released to juvenile detention personnel. Two other juveniles were cited for alcohol possession and released to responsible parties. No identifying information about the minors was released.
